How Do I Lower My Ph Without Alkalinity
Answer: You need to add Muriatic acid to reduce the TA, but remember that any acid will lower the level of the pH too. So the best thing is to add Muriatic acid to the pool to lower the TA down between 100 125 ppm, then add 20 Mule Team Borax to raise the pH to the recommended levels between 7.2 and 7.8.
