When Is Pool Season

BEST POOLS in Las Vegas

There is a bit of a myth around Las Vegass pool season. People are under the impression that over the winter the pools all close down. This is not the case and as long as the weather is reasonable most hotels will have a pool open year-round. In the cooler months, they are far less used and the weather can be far too cold for sitting by a pool but they are usually available if you require them.

Pool season refers far more to the Pool Party Season. This starts to ramp up from March and winds down in late October. But the actual pools are usually year-round. The bigger question is do you want to use a pool if the temp is in the low 50s?

A lot of pools also host Pool Party areas or Private Adult only Day Clubs. These are open to the general public and offer paid entry to access the exclusive areas of the pool DayClubs will usually require you to book a DayBed, Cabana, or Lounge Chair, whereas the Pool Partys offer a cover fee to access the Party just like a nightclub. You then have access to any pool amenities such as the Bar and any Free longers and obviously the pool.

The pool parties are a lively affair featuring a live DJ and lots of dancing a partying, basically, its a big Nightclub in a pool, and is seriously good fun. The Dayclubs are a little more relaxed and offer private relaxation away from children. Some are what is considered Toptional should you wish to work on your all-over tan! as such Photography is usually banned.

    The Tank At Gold Nugget

CNN Travel named this one amongst Americas Most Amazing Hotel Pools. The $30 million pool at Gold Nugget is lovingly called The Tank for a reason. You can swim right next to the sharks, or if you feel particularly bold, you can take the plunge and rush down a waterslide that goes right through the shark tank. If relaxing is more your style, there are exquisite waterfalls to sit beneath while enjoying a specialty drink from the H2O bar, and there are 17 lush private cabanas to stretch out in.

How Does Bottle Service Work At A Pool Party

Most all pool parties, and now many nightclubs, offer purchase minimums rather than the bottle minimums you are used to seeing in the clubs. This means that rather than saying you can have this area for 3 bottles, it is instead meaning you can have this area for the day as long as you spend $1,500.00 in total. Which gives you the flexibility to purchase food, pitchers, bottles, shots, mixed drinks, and beers. Make sure to visit our free direct host listings to get in touch with a host.

However, at weekends, it converts to an ultra-hip rooftop Beachclub. If you are looking for somewhere to keep the party going 24/7 this could get you through those long boring days.

Cabana prices are pretty reasonable during the week but at the weekend beach club, they go through the roof and cost $1000s. Which Hotel Has The Best Pool

Some friends and I are taking a guys trip to Vegas for the first time later this summer. A few of us are interested in lounging poolside, enjoying adult beverages and the sights. we want to stay on the strip. which hotels have the best swimming pools? do any of them have swim up bars or anything along those lines? thanks a lot in advance, I greatly appreciate it.

Mandalay Bay. They actually designed the pool before designing the hotel. Multiple pools, including an adult pool, a large beach where they have summer evening concerts, a wavepool, and a lazy river.

What ktinca says is true, but it’s also true that the MB pools attract a lot of children especially during the summer when school is out. Additionally, MB is all the way on one end of the Strip which may be less than ideal for a first time visit.

I would look at MGM and Flamingo which are also known for their elaborate pool complexes. MGM in particular has a large adult-only pool area which might appeal to you.

avoiding kids would be nice, i need a break from my own, which is why i am going on this trip. any hotels have a swim up bars?

    Mirage wins hands down

If you want to avoid kids go to Wynn, they will have less than anyone else. They also have an adult pool with no admission charge.

No swim up bar, but they do have a large bar with gaming tables. And of course waitresses provide service throught the pool area.

Best Family Pools in Las Vegas for Kids

The Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas pool was once the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas pool. Not a whole lot has changed and that’s a good thing. The outdoor luxury pool is still located on the eighth floor, offering fabulous views over CityCenter and the glittery Strip. You’ll find the same two pools, two Jacuzzis, and an intimate plunge pool. Even the statuesque palm trees are still growing under the desert sun. What has changed, however, is personalized waiter service and light meals like tacos and hummus with veggies from the Pool Cafe. The Venitian Pool has always been the main pool area for both the Venitian and the Palazzo. However, the whole pool deck has been completely rebuilt over the last year. The Main pool is still not open and guests are forced to use the smaller pools and the Palazzo.

Types Of Adult Pools In Las Vegas

Not all adult-only pools are created equal. There are three types of adult pools in Las Vegas:

Adult Pools: This is a basic hotel pool that requires everyone to be 21+. Its usually only open to hotel guests however, some allow non-guests to enter for a small admission fee. These pools are louder and get crazier than a normal resort pool but arent quite considered a pool party.

European Pools: European pools are topless pools. Tops are optional, but you can still wear one if you want to. Hotel guests usually get free entry into European pools, but not always. Non-guests typically have a $20 cover charge.

Pool Parties: A pool party is an official dayclub with a featured DJ. These are the most popular and most expensive pools in Las Vegas. Pool parties can get as loud as nightclubs, so be prepared.

If youre not staying at a hotel with an adult or European pool, you will have to pay a cover charge to get into one at another hotel.
