Wynn Las Vegas Resort King Room Review

There are few hotels in Las Vegas that I have yet to experience, but Wynn has sat atop the to-do list for some time. While I stay on the Strip frequently, its difficult to pull the trigger on a high end resort when you have discounted or comp room offers from other chains.
To book Wynn at a discount, I leveraged the Wynn Slots phone app. While its now impossible to get a free room without in-app purchases, booking through the game was still a solid deal. I spent about $250 for a 2-night stay that would have cost me over $600 if booking directly through Wynn. Notably, the $45/night resort fee is waived when booking through the Wynn Slots app adding to the value proposition.
It should come as no surprise that my stay in a Wynn Resort King Room was impressive. Below, Ill share my experience along with plenty of photos and video to help you get a feel for the room!
It Sits On The Northern End Of The Strip Across From The Fashion Show Mall
The Encore At Wynn Las Vegas is part of the large Wynn facility, which means there’s plenty of designer shopping, a plethora of gourmet restaurants, and even an 18-hole golf course within walking distance. The hotel is at the northern end of the Strip, but it is by no means out of the way. In fact, it’s within walking distance of Treasure Island Hotel & Casino, The Mirage Hotel & Casino, The Palazzo at the Venetian, and The Venetian Resort. The other major hotels, like The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino take over 30 minutes to reach on foot. Luckily, cabs are easy to find at virtually any time of day or night. A generally less-expensive option is the Deuce, a double-decker bus that runs up and down the Strip 24/7. There’s also a monorail system, which stops at several major casinos and hotels in the area. McCarran International Airport is around a 15-minute drive from Encore At Wynn.
Wynn Resort King Bathroom
The Resort King bathroom had a deep soaking tub that I suspect is big enough for two people. Im personally a 6 5 giant, but I was able to cram my lanky frame in with room to spare. The shower is large, glass-encased, and fully enclosed. Inside is a bench and a detachable showerhead.
As you would also expect, there is a dual vanity and premium bath products stocked both in the shower and upon the vanity. Im not a bath product expert per se, but this was stuff I actually used. Seriously, forgetting body wash, shampoo, etc. shouldnt be a concern if staying at Wynn.

Are Wynn And Encore The Same
No! Encore and Wynn arent the same. However, they are owned and managed by Wynn Resorts. Both resorts are impeccably stunning and luxurious and share a handful of resources such as pools. For instance, say a guest is staying at Encore. The guest can use Wynn pools when the Encore pools are packed. However, the reversal is not allowed.
What Can You Spend Resort Credit On
Spa services, gift shop purchases, car rentals, romantic dinners, room upgrades, rounds of golf, and excursions are all possible uses for resort credits. In addition to wine bottles, premium drinks, late checkout, laundry, and lobster, they can sometimes be used for smaller items like bottles of wine.

There Are Over Two Dozen Restaurants And Bars On
Dining-wise, there’s a plethora of options here. Encore guests get access to all restaurants at Wynn and Encore Las Vegas, which range from casual to fine-dining and award-winning. Food on-site gets consistently outstanding reviews, but it is pricey. Those planning to take advantage of the breakfast credit at Encore at Wynn Las Vegas have several choices, including Tableau, which is one of the most popular venues.
Other standouts include Sinatra, a classic Italian restaurant decorated with the late singer’s photographs and Grammys Wazazu, serving pan-Asian fare Michelin-star Chinese restaurant Wing Lei and the atmospheric conservatory-like Jardin that serves contemporary and classic American fare.
There are plenty of stylish bars and lounges here as well, including Eastside Lounge, a swanky spot which offers live entertainment. Dinner and show pairings are available on-site.
Other nightlife options include XS Nightclub — hosting top DJs like David Guetta, Diplo, and Skrillex — and the Beach Club at Encore Wynn, which is a poolside club surrounded by palm trees, cabanas, and bungalows that can be rented out for a fee. The Beach Club is hugely popular among guests and non-guests alike, and crowds should be expected.
Entertainment & Attractions: Wynn Vs Encore
If you came to Las Vegas to party, then the Encore will be the clear winner! Encore is home to both the XS Las Vegas Nightclub and the Encore Beach Club .
XS Las Vegas is Encores premier nightspot featuring famous DJs set in an upscale but intimate environment. The indoor/outdoor club is set around Encores European-style pool. XS is a pretty swanky place, and youll want to dress to impress to see and be seen.
Encore Beach Club by day is a beautiful pool perfect for lounging. At night EBC turns into a refined entertainment space. Private tables, bottle service, and a mix of guest performers turn the pool area into an elegant nightclub.
Encore is also home to the Encore Theater. Here youll find single and multi-night performances from some of the biggest names in music, including Justin Bieber and Brad Paisley. Youll also find comedians and production shows on the performance schedule .
While Encore is definitely the party place, youll find the famous Lake of Dreams show over at the Wynn. This free multimedia show combines lights, animatronics, lasers, and a powerful soundtrack to create an experience you wont soon forget!
Important Note: While you can enjoy all the entertainment that each property offers regardless of which hotel youre staying at, its important to note that the Encore can get a little noisy and more active in the evenings than the Wynn. So if youd prefer a quieter room, the Wynn may be a better choice.

Encore Las Vegas Has Rooms With A View Of The Strip
If you have never been to Las Vegas before, or if this is one of many countless trips, its probable that you would prefer a room with a Strip view. The Encore has many rooms with lovely views of the Las Vegas Strip.
Encores Panoramic View Room is one of the best spots to choose when searching for this option. Request a room overlooking the Strip, or you may have an equally breathtaking view of the Encore pool or Las Vegas downtown area. Either way, you will enjoy amazing views with a loved one, or your entire party, throughout your stay.
Is Encore Beach Club Free To Hotel Guests
Does Encore Beach Club have a free guest list? Like most pool parties in Las Vegas, Encore Beach Club offers free admission for customers who are on the guest list. EBC offers a guest list as a means to get customers into the venue early, to start filling the venue and to get the party kicked off right.

Casinos At Wynn And Encore
The five-star luxury experience of the Wynn and Encore continues when you step into each hotels lavish casino. Both casino entryways are filled with art and lush garden arrangements. In addition, the casinos themselves are nicely decorated with a refined touch.
The Wynn casino floor is 111,000 square feet, while the Encores gaming floor is 80,000 sq. ft. Since youre free to roam between the two casinos regardless of which hotel youre staying at, that means youll have over 190,000 sq. ft. of Vegas gaming located just steps away from your room.
Each casino has the latest in slot machines , including high-roller machines up to $1,000 per spin! In addition, both casinos have a full complement of table games including blackjack, craps, roulette, etc.
Encore Only: The Wynn Poker Room, oddly enough located at the Encore, is one of the top poker rooms in Las Vegas and is known for its superior playing experience.
Wynn Only: The Wynn is home to the only Race & Sports Book between the two properties. If thats where youre planning to spend your time, it will make sense to stay at the Wynn for added convenience.
Can Wynn Guests Use The Encore Pool Free Of Charge
I know that encore guests can use the wynn pool but im staying at the wynn and im wondering if we can use the encores sweet pool.

Wynn guests cannot use the main Encore pool. They can use Encore beach club. But there may be a charge.

If you book a Wynn Tower Suite, I believe you have access to all pools within both complexes. Thats what I was told when I booked my rooms. You can call them and verify to be sure.

Encore Las Vegas Has Three Bedroom Suites
Like Encores two bedroom suite, their three bedroom suite is nothing other than extraordinary. Encore Beach Clubs dress code is best thought of as: dress stylishly like youre going to a pool and actually getting in the water . The pool is always filled with beautiful people. Make sure to bring out that new bikini or pair of swimming trunks youve been waiting to wear.

Pools: Wynn Or Encore
Las Vegas is known for its pools and the pool decks at the Wynn and Encore wont disappoint.
Wynn Pool As befits an upscale resort, the pools at the Wynn are all about luxury and relaxation. The main pool is a Euro-style pool set in a well-maintained garden. The other two pools are the Resort Pool and the Wynn Tower Suites Pool.
Encore Pool The pools at Encore consist of the Encore Beach Club pool and the XS Lounge Pool. The EBC Pool is a multi-tiered pool that operates as a dayclub with live music during daylight hours and lights up at night to become a happening party place.
The European pool at XS Lounge is a nightclub and night swim pool where famous DJs spin tunes and the drinks flow. These two pools at the Encore are where the younger crowd flocks to at night.
Important Note: There is an important difference between the Wynn and Encore when it comes to their pools. Wynns pools are available to all guests staying at either Wynn or Encore, but Encores pools are only available to Encore hotel guests.
If pools and parties are important to your Las Vegas vacation, then youll have more options if you choose to stay at Encore.

Other Tips To Employ At Wynn
- The Cafe, just off the casino floor and near the hotel elevators is a great spot to grab a coffee in the morning, however, the line tends to be substantial. We got around this by ordering online in advance then walking up to the counter to pick it up. Slick.
- Wynn is currently tier matching status earned through other loyalty programs. Take advantage of it if it makes sense!
- The Buffet at Wynn is recognized as being among the best in Las Vegas for a reason. Check out our review of Wynns buffet, here, to gauge if adding it to your itinerary could make sense!
- Explore the conservatory. You cant miss it. Located near both the main entrance and hotel check-in, you would be nuts to miss this photo opportunity. It can be challenging to get a pic without strangers in the shot, but if you give it some time, you can usually snag a person-free photo.
If you havent yet had the opportunity to stay at Wynn, do it. The rooms are among the most luxurious on the Strip, and that stamp of quality is reflected across the resort. From the pool, to dining options and common areas, Wynn is among the most beautiful properties in Las Vegas.

Encore Las Vegas Is On The North Of The Strip
This five-star tower rests on the north end of the Strip, among Wynn property amenities. Travel through the plaza shops and esplanades for both resorts before attending a show at the theater, all within a walkable distance. For a more down-home meal or a change in scenery, walk a bit farther north to the Gold Key Shops, as another Las Vegas Strip staple.
