Unibead Above Ground Swimming Pool Liners: Unibead liners are the ultimate in versatility and have a two-in-one feature that allows you to replace an Overlap pool liner with a Unibead liner. Unibead above ground swimming pool liners have the option to be used with a bead receiver or as a J-Hook liner. If you dont have a bead receiver, simply hook the line onto the rim of the pool wall. Buying A Replacement Aboveground Vinyl Pool Liner
Buying a new aboveground pool liner is not as scary as it sounds. It is actually quite easy when you know what you are looking for.
The first thing you need to do when shopping for above ground pool liners, is to measure your pool. Even if you are certain of the size I know I have a 24 foot round pool, measure it just to be sure its not something different. Every year, a few unfortunate customers order wrong, and spend hours trying to make a liner fit, until they measure the pool
If you have a round pool, you would measure inside to inside straight across the pool . Take two measurements one at the top of the wall to the opposite side, and also from the bottom of the wall straight across the floor to the bottom on the other side. If the diameter at the top of the wall is different from the bottom, the walls are not vertical, and this could create installation challenges. In addition to a top/bottom diameter comparison, it is best to measure diameters in two different spots to make sure the measurements are the same, and your pool is not out of round.
If you have an oval pool, the liner measurements would be done the same way except you will need to measure the longest length and longest width of your pool, typically measured on the center-lines of your pool length and width.
All beaded liners are made for flat bottom pools. The liners are usually made to fit either a 48 or 52 pool wall.

What Size Liner Do I Need

- Thickness matters too. Pool liner thickness is measured in either mils or gauge. Each mil is 0.01 inches. Thicker vinyl liners are stronger but also heavier. If your pool only sees lighter use, thinner vinyl will be fine.
How Should I Maintain My Pool Liner
- When cleaning your pool, you need to be careful not to damage the swimming pool liner. Vinyl liners can be cleaned gently using a cloth or a soft-bristled pool brush.
- Look for specialized vinyl-friendly products if you want to use pool chemicals to clean your swimming pool. These are usually alkaline-based, as this is less harsh on the pool liner than acid-based cleaners.
- If your liner is damaged, you don’t necessarily need a replacement immediately. Vinyl liners can be repaired using a liner repair kit and some pool-friendly adhesive. If you have a large tear in the swimming pool liner, though, it may be time to find a new one. Patches on the liner can also be quite obvious if the vinyl doesn’t have the same pattern.
