How To Reserve A Class Space Pool Time Or Kids Club Spot

Due to limited capacity, YMCA members are encouraged to reserve a space in their group fitness class to guarantee a spot.; Reservations open 24 hours before class time and can be made online.; Please arrive 10 minutes before class time: spaces will be given to walk-ins at class start time.;

Lap swim reservations open 24 hours before your desired time slot.; Lap lane reservations begin on the hour, please arrive within 10 minutes of your time slot or space may be given to members waiting for a lane.

Open swim time slots are available for members only.; Children are able to swim and will be swim tested.; Reservations are open 24 hours before your desired time.

There will be limited spots available each hour for Kids Club.; Branches will set individual limits for proper child to instructor ratio.

Outdoor Pools Open For The Season

Please stay tuned for more information about the reopening of the YMCA facilities.Members and guests are invited to kick off the summer pool season at the Fishers YMCA on May 25.And weve got a full lineup of summer fun at the pool in store!Fishers YMCA has two indoor pools, including one with zero-depth entry, and three outdoor pools, including a splash pad and kids pool. Ohio Department of Health releases guidelines for public ...

A: Beginning Monday Sept 20, 2021, Proof of vaccination status for those aged 12+ will be required to access any YMCA Calgary facility, service or program

  • From Sept 20th to Oct 25: Anyone 12+ looking to access a YMCA facility service or program must have received at least one dose of a Health Canada approved COVID-19 vaccine.
  • Proof of a single dose is acceptable as long as the dose was given more than two weeks before time of YMCA entry.
  • From Oct 25 onward: Anyone 12+ looking to access a YMCA facility service or program must have received two doses of a Health Canada approved COVID-19 vaccines.

A: Right now, there are several options people 12+ can use to prove vaccination status:

  • Paper: Immunization records received at immunization appointments
  • Technology: Records shown from MyHealth Records app or website
  • Printable card: Paper card printable from MyHealth Records app

A: YMCA Calgary will NOT be accepting any rapid test results in lieu of vaccine status. We do not have the capacity or expertise to determine the validity of a rapid test result.

A: We are currently developing a process to manage requests for medical exemptions. While we are building this process, exemptions will not be provided. However, we are committed to doing this quickly, so that we can work with our community to determine accommodations as appropriate.

A: YMCA Calgary will be implementing a mandatory vaccination policy that will apply to staff, volunteers and contractors.

The capacity of the Outdoor Pools is 200 people in the pool area.

Is The Lionville Community Ymca’s Outdoor Pool Opening

Unfortunately, we are unable to open the Lionville Community YMCAs outdoor pool this summer because there is not enough space by the pool to adequately allow for social distancing. While we wish the circumstances were different, we will not take chances with your health and safety. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and disappointment. Active YGBW members are able to purchase an outdoor pool membership at any of our YGBW branches.

Who Can Use The Outdoor Pool

  • Children under age 5 must have an adult 18 years or older in the water within arms reach and actively involved in the supervision of the child.

  • Children between the ages of 6 and 9 years old must have an adult 18 years old or older providing supervision at any pool.

  • Members Age 10 + are welcome!;

  • Full Countryside YMCA members can use a guest pass to bring a guest.;Guests must be accompanied by the member.;

    At our;Lebanon;facility, the following pricing applies for guest passes:

    Youth one-day pass -;$7

    Family one-day pass – $15;

  • Nationwide Members are welcome starting at 1:00 pm. Nationwide Members cannot bring guests.

  • Lap swimming is for members ages 13 and over. Swimmers between 6 and 12 years old, having passed the swim test, may swim laps with an adult as long as they are continuously swimming laps.;

New Kid Zone Programs

Hey parents! We heard you and you want activities for your kids while you workout at the YMCA. Our new Kid Zone classes are for ages 3 – 10 and each hour-long session takes place during popular workout classes and times. Your kids can join YMCA youth counselors for art, Kid Fit, STEM classes and more. Kid Zone is free for YMCA Members and their kids who are on their membership.;

A: Alberta Health Services has determined that the Wellness Centre must remain closed until further notice to limit public access to the hospital.

A: Registration for swim lessons and other registered programs is live now and begin on September 13th. To view availability and to register online please visit .

A: Yes, personal training is available now. Please inquire on the weight floor.

A: All children ages 13 years and younger must participate in a swimming skills assessment and will be provided a coloured wristband based on their age and swimming ability. As always, children between the ages 0-7 must stay within arms-reach of a caregiver at all times.

A: Towels will remain available to Membership Extra members and available for rental.

A: Yes, Water fountains and bottle fillers are available to use. Given the limited quantity of bottle fillers at some of our locations, we encourage all facility users to bring filled water bottles with them.

A: Facility and amenity capacity limits vary and are dependent on size, design, as well as the activity and programming in the space. We adjust capacity limits at regular intervals for operational reasons, but aim to provide the right balance of space and numbers . Kernersville Family YMCA

The Kernersville Family YMCA has two fun Outdoor Water Park areas. Playful features in the Splash Park area for younger children include tumble buckets that dump water and ground arch features.;The Teen Activity pool has two state-of-the-art water slides, as well as water lily pads and pool deck funbrellas to provide shade!

Wilkes Family YMCA ;

The Wilkes Family YMCA waterpark is 24 deep with a zero depth entry. It includes four spraying/dumping water features, picnic tables with umbrellas, and lounge chairs. Access to family changing room and locker rooms. Personal flotation devices available for non-swimmers. Birthday parties offered on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as after the pool closes!

Barium Springs Family YMCA

The Barium Springs Family YMCA has two water features in the shallow end and a covered resting area. Private lessons and birthday parties offered.

Yadkin Family YMCA

The Yadkin Family YMCA outdoor water park includes four water features designed to keep kids busy and entertained. The pool is fully staffed with lifeguards and does not require a swim test for swimmers to use. Parental supervision is required for anyone in 8th grade or younger. There are tables for eating lunches and plenty of lounge chairs for sunbathing.

Do You Give Refunds For Inclement Weather

New Outdoor Pool at Hogan YMCA in Madison to Open Saturday ...

If you are in the pool for less than 30 minutes and you have to leave due to inclement weather we will provide you with a raincheck card. If you are in the pool for more than 30 minutes you will not receive a raincheck card. Please check the forecast and visit ppymca.org/status if you plan on visiting the pools! Pools will close temporarily for any lightning within 8 miles.

Why Is There A Membership Fee To The Brandywine Ymca’s Outdoor Pool

To provide the safest experience possible, many procedures such as increased staffing and rigorous cleaning and disinfection are being implemented based on recommendations from the CDC and Pennsylvania Department of Health.;These procedures come with additional costs; and as a result, it is necessary to charge a minimal membership fee for the outdoor pool. The cost is very reasonable and additionally, financial assistance and payment plans are available.

For Countryside YMCA members, the normal hours of operation at the outdoor pool are:Monday – Saturday, 11:00am 8:00pmSunday Noon 5:45pmNationwide Members are welcome at 1:00pm.;

Play And Learn Child Enrichment Program

YMCA of Honolulu Outdoor Fitness Centers & Pools Now Open

Play and Learn child enrichment program is now available at all 11 CSRA area branches and is the only one of its kind in the region. This program has been uniquely developed by the Ys educational experts to provide engaging curriculum to help children develop in the areas of music and movement, literacy, STEAM , and arts and crafts while parents are utilizing branch facilities for up to two-hour blocks of time.; The service is free to all active Y members.

During normal branch operating hours, parents can place their child in Play and Learn for rotating sessions including music and movement, devotionals, storytelling and reading, STEAM and arts and crafts with age appropriate activities for every child. Play and Learn is designed to stimulate minds and bodies, while teaching competence to build autonomy and reinforce positive attitudes and actions.

Curriculum changes every week throughout the year, with the same offerings each day at every branch should a member utilize multiple facilities for consistency. The program is on a voluntary basis for families and religious beliefs are respected and inclusive, should families have specific preferences.

Situated on 88 acres of land, this venue is located in North Wilmington approximately 10 minutes away from our Brandywine YMCA. At Hanby you can enjoy many outdoor activities including swimming,; hiking and nature explorations, flying kites, drawing, painting, making crafts, playing games, fitness boot camps, and watching movies under the stars.

Hanby Outdoor Pool Guest Pass Guidelines

  • Guest passes may only be purchased at the Brandywine YMCA Member Service Desk during normal operating hours.
  • Guest passes must be purchased by the member. Passes will not be sold directly to a guest without a member present.
  • Guest passes purchased at the Brandywine YMCA are only valid for the Hanby Outdoor Center.
  • Member must accompany the guest when entering the Hanby Outdoor Center Pool.
  • Guest access cards purchased at the branch must be presented upon arrival at the Hanby Outdoor Center Pool
  • Guests 18 years or older must present a photo ID.
  • All guest fees and pre-paid guest passes are non-refundable.
  • Discounted temporary memberships and free guest passes will not have access to the outdoor pool.

How Do I Access The Outdoor Pool

Access to the Outdoor Pool will be from the Outdoor Pool entrance only.; The exit doors from the Wet Hall are closed and cannot be used to enter or exit the building .

Please park in the Outdoor Pool Parking lot.; ;

Please have each member of your familys membership card ready to scan.; All youth ages 6 12 years old will scan their card at the Kids Scan scanner for age verification and swim wristband.

We have updated our pool policies, and will be enforcing all pool policies;including dress code, safety and supervision, and swim tests.;

Bring your own goggles and nose clips.;Sharing personal items like these is discouraged for sanitary reasons.;
