Best Pools On The Las Vegas Strip
Mandalay Bays Beach: Mandalay Bays pool complex has a firmly entrenched position in the upper echelon among the best pools in Las Vegas. Why? How much time do you have?
Among our favorite aspects of Mandalays pool is the differentiation of offerings. The 11-acre complex boasts a 1.6 million gallon wave pool that churns out 6-foot tall waves, a real sand beach, a jogging path, a lazy river, and 4 swimming pools. We can personally verify that floating laps on one of the few lazy fivers in Vegas is great therapy the morning after a long night. Check out this oasis in the desert below.
MGM Grand: Like Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand ranks among the top pools in Las Vegas due to the diversity of amenities spread out over a sprawling 6.5-acre complex. Encompassed within MGM Grands pool deck is a 1,000 foot long lazy river, 3 whirlpools, and 4 pools complete with waterfalls. The environment has a tropical feel due to the abundance of palm trees and plant life, which also serve as a privacy barrier segmenting the pool deck into smaller sections. The best way to get a feel for the size and scope of the pool at MGM grand is from above.
Cosmopolitan: As one of the nicest hotel properties in Las Vegas, a top-tier pool experience is expected and Cosmopolitan delivers with two distinct pool scenes.
A Special Note On Family Friendly Pools In Las Vegas
It should be noted that some of the family pools in Las Vegas curated for this list do require guests of the pool area to be registered guests of the hotel.
This is primarily done for safety purposes, as the hotel will want to make sure they can account for everyone and anyone who may be in the pool area.
Another reason why pool areas and complexes may require you to be a registered guest of the hotel is to avoid overcrowding, which is certainly a possible problem in certain circumstances.
If you are not sure whether or not the pool in question requires you to be a registered hotel guest in advance, call up the hotel and ask them about their policies regarding gentry without registration.
In some cases, you may be simply let inor you may be asked to pay a special fee reserved for people who arent hotel guests. In some cases, however, you cannot enter at all without being a guest.
To avoid showing up and being turned away unnecessarily, remember to always call ahead to find out where you will be taking your family to rest during your vacation.
Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas

1. Mandalay Bay Beach at Mandalay Bay, one of the best Las Vegas pools for families
Mandalay Bay Beach is a wonderland for beach bums who need a break from the scorching desert heat. There is even a real sand beach in the complex, along with a 1.6-million-gallon wave pool. While this is one of the best pools in Las Vegas, NV, its also one of the most expensive, and when you add up the costs for a cabana rental, food, and any other supplies, youre looking at a hefty sum.
If youre not traveling with kids, consider Mandalay Bays other two pools, which are both adults-only. Daylight Beach Club has a fun party atmosphere with live music, while Moorea Beach Club is an upscale, European-inspired pool deck.

Drais Beachclub The Cromwell
- Best for All-Day Partying
- Bungalow $5000 20 Guests
- Cabana $3000+ 10 Guests
- DayBeds $1500 6 Guests
- Price $20 Women $30 Men
- Features Live DJs and club atmosphere during the Day.
During the week Drais beach club is an average Hotel pool for an average hotel. Being rooftop makes it a little better but its not exactly mindblowing. However, at weekends, it converts to an ultra-hip rooftop Beachclub. If you are looking for somewhere to keep the party going 24/7 this could get you through those long boring days.
Cabana prices are pretty reasonable during the week but at the weekend beach club, they go through the roof and cost $1000s. This reflects the kind of clientele that frequent here and it really is a place to be seen. While these prices are pretty crazy they are minimum spends and if there is a large group all spending hard on bottle service it can get covered pretty quickly. If its a Bachelorette Blowout it can be worth the expense for a one-off.
But entry is only $20-30 with no reservation and that is a similar cover charge to most nightclubs. Expect nightclub prices on drinks too. In fact, Drais really is just a typical Glitzy Vegas Nightclub, By a pool, during the day!

Mandalay Bay Mandalay Beach $$ North Strip
The giant Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino is every bit as luxurious as the other resorts on this list, but its one of the oldest resorts on the Strip and thus no longer exudes that exclusive feel as do many of the others. Its not for lack of effort though: the 11-acre playground has three large pools, a lazy river, 2,700 tons of white sand, a 1.6 million gallon wave pool, and even an elevated stage built atop the wave pool where live performances regale fans wading in thigh-deep water. The resort itself offers a plethora of family-friendly atmosphere and amenities, e.g. shark reef aquarium, interactive shows, kid-friendly eateries. As a result, a family-friendly booze-friendly backyard pool party with quite a few tipsy aunts and uncles stumbling around is the vibe youll get here, particularly in the summers when school is out. Add in the intermittent air traffic noise and inconveniently long rides to any center or south Strip locations, and this venue can often take on the feel of Disneyland instead of Sin City. Which is fine if youve got kids in tow and dont want to stray too far from your home base just to cool off.Closest dayclub / pool party to Mandalay Bay:Moorea / Daylight
