As for sunbathers, the Cosmopolitan will keep its Chelsea Pool open throughout winter months with limited hours, and a limited food and beverage menu.

When Do Pools Open In Las Vegas

Las Vegas strip open their swimming pools?

most properties never close all pools – at least 1 is open year around, notwithstanding maintenace. Each property varies – either check the website or call the hotel – which is what I would do for this type of info, since “season” is not the same at all properties. Weather makes a big difference – most properties are in full swing late March-early april.

Most pools open at 9am in Spring & Fall, but change to 8am or even 7am in the Summer. I’m not sure about December thru February.

This site will give you an idea of what is available but you must check with the hotels themselves since things do change.

The wynn keeps their pool open all year round according to my friend who works at the pool bar they also keep it heated to 80 degrees. The wynn pool is fabulous and a nice way to end your shopping day with a mojito and a snack at the pool bar. staff is very friendly and the area is beautiful. have fun!

The Venetian And Palazzo

The Palazzo

If you wan to get wet at the Venetian, youll have to jump ship during a gondola ride . Although the Venetian closes its pool deck for the season in November, all three pools at the Palazzo will remain open throughout winter, sans food and beverage service. If temps happen to crack 75 , head to Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer and cool off with an over-the-top CrazyShake like the Churro Choco Taco, featuring a vanilla frosted rim with cinnamon toast crunch and topped with a choco taco, two churros, whipped cream and dulce de leche drizzle.

Do The Pools Stay Open In November

I hope to go to LV this November but I love to swim in an outdoor pool. Is it too cold in November?

Maybe. Depends on the weather and which time of the month. Beginning of the month being much more pleasant than the end. But not a good month for a trip if being in the pool is a priority for you. Often you might find the pool open, but few in the water, and amenities like the pool bar might be closed for the winter.

It depends on which pool and which hotel. It’s usually not considered swimming weather in November, but you never know.

I don’t know how current this is. but here is one list that shows which are year round and which seasonal.

Thanks! My DH just said it’s not a priority. I did have a blast at the MGM lazy river a few years back but that was in Sept. I’ll need to get a spa treatment somewhere to have a relaxing afternoon I guess.

While MGM always keeps at least one pool open, the lazy river will almost certainly be closed in November.

We swam in the outdoor pool at Paris the third week of December. It was quite chilly and the lifeguard was wearing a sweat shirt and gloves but we just had to do it to say we did. The hot tub felt much better!!

How Cold Does Lasvegas Even Get

As anyone whos visited during the summer months can tell you, Las Vegas is HOT! Its over a hundred degrees in the summer on the regular, so why would you want a heated pool?

I guarantee you a heated pool is great, even during the scorching days of summer. If its above 100 degrees, a pool heated to the mid 80s or even higher feels wonderfully refreshing.

So how cold does it even get in the wintertime?

The coldest month in Las Vegas is January, just like a lot of other states. During December, January, and February, the winter months, the temperature usually hovers between the 50s and 60s during the daytime. Its very rare for the weather to get any colder than that.

66 / 33 19 / 1

During the night, the temperature can drop down to the 30s and we usually get at least a few nights below freezing. Despite this, its very infrequent for Las Vegas to get any kind of snow. This is because of our desert location. The climate here is very arid and dry. Moisture is a hard thing to come by in the desert, and the majority of the rain we get is either in August or February when its far too warm for snow.

While winter days are generally sunny and reasonably warm, it is still much too cold to go swimming unless the pool is heated. If your hotel has an indoor pool or a heated pool, you can still enjoy a swim while visiting during the winter. However, unheated swimming pools are just too cold during the winter to be enjoyed.

The Beach At Mandalay Bay Pool

Voted “one of the best pools in the U.S.” by Tripadvisor and “9 Best Pools in Las Vegas” by Conde Nast, the Mandalay Bay Pool Complex is a truly spectacular experience for both adults and children. The size and scope of this complex is enormous–at 11 acres, it houses multiple pools, a wave machine, a lazy river, a sandy beach, private cabanas, restaurants, a spa, and a music stage. Imagine bodysurfing on waves up to twelve feet high, your body gliding along the water like a slick-bottomed boat. Or grab an inner tube and lazily float down the river of relaxation. Finally, rent a private cabana and indulge in a relaxing poolside massage.

Pools Guaranteed To Be Open & Heated In Winter

One pool open & heated to 82 degrees 8 am Sunset

Not all Vegas hotels and pools are listed here. If you dont see your hotel, try their website or just give them a call. For the more popular hotels, its most likely their pool will be heated or theyll have an indoor option specifically for winter.

The Scene Pool Deck At Planet Hollywood

MGM Grand Pool Areas in Winter: STUNNING & (partially) open! From

Planet Hollywood’s pool is great, but the problem is that from midafternoon on, it becomes party central, so unless you go early in the day, the atmosphere becomes inappropriate for kids. However, do go early and enjoy this amazing pool, then in the afternoon, solving the pool party problem is easily remedied by going next door to the Paris to swim. Caesars Entertainment allows guests of any of its Las Vegas properties to swim at any Caesars owned hotel of their choosing. This is an option you should take advantage of because the Paris pool is much quieter. While you are at the Paris, there are various other activities your children will enjoy as well, just as there are at other hotels nearby. Virtually every hotel on the Las Vegas Strip has a swimming pool, but Planet Hollywood is home to the only FlowRider on the Strip. Room rates at Planet Hollywood begin at just $37.95.

The Tank At Golden Nugget

The Tank at Golden Nugget pool has a full encapsulated 200,000 gallon shark tank right in its center–so while you and your children splish and splash five different species of sharks and a wide variety of exotic fish will be watching you, or rather you’ll be watching them. If you plan on having a group, The Tank offers 15 Luxury Cabanas to suit your every need with all of the furnishings like flat screen televisions and private mini-fridges. All cabanas feature your own private server! This pool is open year round. Golden Nugget hotel rooms begin at $54.99.

Winter Pools Open On The Las Vegas Strip

Winter is here and the weather is still gorgeous! Unfortunately, not all Las Vegas hotels keep pools open throughout the year. Here are some Vegas Strip hotels that offer some kind of pool experience during the winter:

Most of the pools off the Vegas Strip are closed for the cooler weather . Red Rock Casino and the Plaza are two of the few off-strip hotels that keep their pool open year-round.
